Native American: Hands-on History
Learn the myths behind how the bunny lost his tail, how the opossum got his smile but lost the fur on his tail, and how the deer got his horns during Anniston Museum’s Native American craft day. Children will have the opportunity to create a tissue paper mosaic of their choice of a rabbit, deer, or opossum. Visitors will enjoy storytelling, live animals, and the ability to view behind-the-scenes collections items originating from various Native American tribes. This program includes all craft supplies. It is limited to 35 people. Please call 256-237-6766 to reserve your spot. Program is free for members and $5 for non-members.
