About Us

Cleburne County High School opened its doors in 1936, bringing new life to downtown Heflin, Alabama. In 2021, it reopened its doors to bring a new way of life. Carillon Oaks is a thriving, amenity-rich community of comfortable, spacious one-bedroom apartments for independent living, assisted living, and memory care, all at an affordable rate.

Our mission is to enhance quality of life for Alabama seniors by developing properties with resort-level amenities and best-in-class care in familiar places near family and friends. Our unique business model combines new construction with historic rehabilitation, allowing us to serve communities that would otherwise lack independent-living, assisted-living or memory-care facilities.

All seniors in the community 75+ enjoy FREE breakfast at 7:00 am and lunch at 12:00 pm every day Monday through Friday.
