December 7, 2021 marks the 80th anniversary of the “date which will live in infamy” – the attack on Pearl Harbor which propelled the United States into World War II. Join us throughout the day as we explore the events of December 7, 1941, Calhoun County’s connection to the event, and Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona today. 9:00am December 7, 1941: A “Date Which Will Live in Infamy” 11:00am Pearl Harbor Hits Close to Home: Soldiers from Calhoun County 1:00pm The Importance of Pearl Harbor Today with special guest speaker W. Kent Davis, Rear Admiral, USN (Ret.) and Commissioner, Alabama Department of Veterans Affairs Programs will be available in person at the Berman Museum and via Zoom.
