Chinese New Year Celebrations and Traditions
Chinese New Year, also known as Lunar New Year or the Spring Festival, is widely celebrated in China, South Korea, Vietnam, Singapore, and other countries with a significant Chinese population and ancestry. It is full of symbolism and traditions that date back thousands of years. Celebrate the Year of the Dragon with the Berman Museum featuring Lion Dance performances by the Chien Hong School of Kung Fu from Atlanta, Georgia, food samples, dragon crafts, games, and more. Pre-registration is encouraged. Each session is limited to 75 guests. Session 1: 10:00 am - 12:15 pm Includes 11:00 am LION DANCE Session 2: 12:45 pm - 3:00 pm Includes 1:00 pm LION DANCE Chinese New Year tickets are $18/Adult and $16/Child (ages 4-17) per session.
