Egypt and Animals Live Animal Presentation
Ancient Egyptians understood their world through observations. These observations impacted many aspects of life, from farming to religion. Ancient Egyptians worshipped gods with animal heads – but why? Egyptians sought to represent the gods through what already existed on earth and thus turned to animals. Join us in the Anniston Museum of Natural History’s auditorium as we explore the mysteries of ancient Egyptian religion alongside some of our animal ambassadors and get a peek at some artifacts not usually on display! This live animal presentation is included in museum admission and free for members.
