Getting Started with Hypertufa
HyperWHAT? Lightweight and durable, hypertufa planters are fun to make from a mixture of peat moss, perlite, Portland cement, and water. The end result is a unique piece reminiscent of English stone troughs from another era. Join us for this workshop to learn all about hypertufa and create your own beautiful piece. The class is taught by East Central Alabama Master Gardener, Lee Culver. Lee has been making hypertufa planters and garden statuary for 10 years and teaching classes for master gardeners, public gardens, and various garden clubs for 8 years.
