Representative Randy Wood is a graduate of Saks High School and Southern Union College. He owned Wood's Auto Body Shop in Anniston until 2020 when he retired. Representative Wood was first elected to the Alabama House of Representatives in 2002. Prior to serving in the House, he served as a Calhoun County commissioner from 1998-2002.
Representative Wood served six years in the Alabama National Guard, is a member of the Saks Civitan Club, Weaver Lions Club, and the Fraternal Order of Police - Lodge #4.
He is the current Chairman for the Internal Affairs Committee and is a member of the Veterans Affairs Committee. Rep. Wood has also served as the Chair for the Public Safety Committee, sat on the Rules Committee, and the Economic Development and Tourism Committee in previous years.
David Cole was born in Tuscaloosa, AL and grew up in the small town of Akron. He attended Shelton State then Auburn University and earned a B.A. Landscape Horticulture. Upon graduation he moved to Atlanta, GA where he worked for a landscape design firm before moving back home to start his own landscape design and installation business.
David then took a position with the Alabama Farmers Federation in 2006 as an Area Organization Director where he served as a liaison between the county federations and the state organization. In 2011 he accepted a position in the Governmental Affairs Department where he lobbied on behalf of the Alabama Farmers Federation and Alfa Insurance.
In 2018 David was promoted to Director of State Affairs for the Alfa Companies.
In 2019 David accepted the position of SVP of Governmental Affairs for the Business Council of Alabama.
