Good Morning, City leadership is excited about the accelerating growth of downtown Anniston. However, we have heard your concerns regarding limited parking, and we have good news to share with all of you! The City of Anniston has awarded MBA Engineers a contract to design a new public parking lot at the former Model City Building location, situated at the intersection of 12th Street and Noble Street in Anniston. Good Morning, You may recall that Governor Ivey awarded the City of Anniston a Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside Grant in the amount of $640,000 in FY21 for streetscape improvements on Anniston’s West 15th Street. Plans, surveying, and engineering are now complete and the streetscape project will soon begin on Monday, September 18, 2023.
